The odds of two individual events happening is calculated by multiplying the odds of them both happening, correct?

A bit of context for the question: There's an online card game called Marvel Snap, where an ingame mechanic gives both players a random card from the card pool of the entire game. Me and my opponent both got the same card, so assuming that there's about 300 cards in the game, the odds of this happening is 1/300*1/300, right? I'm being downvoted for pointing this out, so now I'm doubting my own mathematical knowledge.
A response to my comment said that the odds of two dice both landing on six is 1 in 6, and not 1 in 36, but that is incorrect, isn't it? Am I crazy?
Top Comment: The probability of two events both happening is their probabilities multiplies together - if, and only if, the two events are independent.

Events Won't Start

So, either there's a bug going on or I'm fundamentally misunderstanding the event part of the crusade interface, because no matter what I do the events won't actually start. They just get knocked back with the other available events again and nothing happens.

The Fourth Seed has won the Last Four Top Level Events

I know this is a stat that only the likes of Rich Hagon would enjoy, but while editing the mtg wiki, I noticed that the last four top level events were won by the fourth seed. Nathan Steuer was fourth in the rankings going into the playoffs of Worlds 2022 and Pro Tour MOM, Reid Duke was the fourth seed in Pro Tour ONE, and Jake Beardsley was the fourth seed at Pro Tour LOTR. Prior to that, Jan Merkel won the New Capenna Championship from the 8th seed. Almost certainly useless, but hey still kind of interesting.

Calendar Widget won't show any events (used to work fine)

I'm not sure exactly when this happened, but, I've got a ProtonMail account registered with my Microsoft account (so no Hotmail, Outlook) and the Microsoft Account Calendar worked flawlessly, I mean I was able to see my events in Windows 11 Widgets.
Since I can't tell when (but at least a few days by now) it just won't display any events. Clicking on "learn more" will take me to a 404 Ms page.
Clean install won't do the trick. I'm sure it's somehow an API bug or whatever but it just doesn't work, making (if the account domain is what's causing this) widgets useless for many, including me.

Why Your Events Won't Trigger

Hey, everyone! I've seen many posts on this sub asking various versions of, "Why won't [blank] trigger?" I've decided to write a brief post explaining why these things happen.
"Why won't [blank] accept my confession/marriage proposal?"
Note: Before confessing, you must have seen all three romance events with the person you're pursuing, and they must have at least seven heart levels. Before proposing, you must have been on three dates with your partner, plus one final event, along with having at least ten heart levels.
Confessions and marriage proposals are somewhat complicated in Rune Factory if you're not familiar with the process. There are multiple reasons that your love interest won't accept your confession/marriage proposal; your love will not accept if:
1) You already have an event active.
When your love interest accepts your confession/proposal, it starts a separate event of its own. If you have another romance event or town event active, your love will not accept it. Make sure to finish any ongoing event before confessing/proposing.
2) You're in the middle of a main story event.
From experience and other people's words in this sub, some parts of the main story must be completed before confessing/proposing to your love. I'm not sure which parts of the main story prevent this, though I believe it mostly occurs during Act 2. For marriage confessions, you do not have to complete the main story to get married, but you must have all bachelors and bachelorettes unlocked.
3) You've already confessed at that heart level.
In Rune Factory 5(for dating), you can only confess to your love once per heart level. For example, if you confess to your love while they have seven heart levels, you'll have to wait until they reach eight to confess again.
There is an RNG aspect to confessing, so even with no issues in the way, your love may still reject you. To bypass this, the moment your love reaches the next heart level, save your game before confessing. If your love rejects you, load your save and try again.
Note: I'm not yet sure if this applies to proposals. Regardless, make sure to save before proposing to be safe.
"Why won't [blank]'s event marker show up on the map?"
There have been many instances of event markers not showing up on the map. Here are a few reasons why you're not seeing them:
1) The event is hidden behind someone else's.
Many events start in the same area. For example, Cecil's first romance event starts in Livia's office, and Scarlett's third event starts in the same place. If you can't find the next event for the character you're pursuing, you may have to clear someone else's for it to appear on the map.
2) You're in the middle of a main story event.
For some reason, certain parts of the main story can halt your progress in a romance event. You'll be able to start the event, but one of the next parts of the event will not show up on the map where it's supposed to. If this happens, don't fear that your game is bugged/broken; try getting a bit further in the main story until the marker eventually shows up.
For some characters, later romance events are locked behind story progression; their events will become available to you once you complete certain parts of the main story. keep an eye out for their markers to appear as you progress through the story.
3) You're not waiting long enough.
Some events and parts of events take place in the evening. When I was doing one of Ryker's events, I was confused about why the next part wasn't showing up even though it's been days. It turns out that I was sleeping too early, and the event marker showed ap at 7:00 pm. Some events occur in the evening, and a lot of the time, you'll have to wait until the next day. If an event marker isn't showing up for you, have some patience!
"Why won't the boss spawn?"
I've seen that when some players arrive at the end of a new dungeon, the boss in the final room won't spawn; the room remains empty, and no cutscene plays. This, like listed above, is because you currently have a romance or town event active. As stated earlier, make sure you clear your active events before continuing to the next part.
These are all the scenarios I can think of off the top of my head, so if there are more, let me know so I can add them! I hope that this helps those of you who need it! :)
Top Comment: Main story can definitely fuck up dates/confessions. Murakumo straight up refused to go on a date with me until I moved the plot along (which I didn't want to do). I really wish there was some kind of indicator to tell you what the problem is because for awhile I just thought it was shitty RNG.
Can't trigger Mint romance events after Ginger events

SPOILERS FOR GINGER ROUTE AHEAD
So my character married Ginger, time passed, finished her storyline and now she's my deceased wife. I saw that Mint was a good character to romance from the boards, so I gave him a heart knot, which he accepted so his events didn't trigger. Makes sense since his first event makes reference to Ginger still being alive. But now he's stuck with maximum hearts as my Soulmate and won't accept the wedding ring, and his romance events don't trigger. Is there any way around this? I didn't back up saves so my most recent one is a week before Ginger dies and the mystery salesman is nowhere in sight to buy a broken mirror from.

I don't think you can divorce Ginger after she starts really going down hill so I doubt it is worth trying to redo.
Spoiler: As for Mint...I'm not sure why he is not accepting the wedding ring. I know he is one of the few that can propose to you but he should also be able to accept a wedding ring. Only thing I can think of is keep trying...it took a long time before he had accepted my heart knot...it took like 2 weeks before that side quest started. Or...Actually I believe Mint should come up to you to say he has to leave because all jobs are completed and that starts a quest to allow him to stay and get married. It requires talking to Gale.

The general requirement for the player selection are:
(1) Game ability
(2) contribution to team
(4) international events experience
(6) performance in the last season/3months (provided by the game company)
(8) contribution to Korean eSports
As you can see there are few condition which were not translated, as the person who translated said he only translated parts he understands.
